Angelina County authorities arrest 2 after multi-agency pursuit

During a brief manhunt, two suspects were located in the woods and taken into custody. They were identified as Dandre Theus, 25, and Demarcus Clements 32, both of Shreveport, according to the sheriff’s statement. Due to the evidence located, it is suspected the subjects are potentially involved in a ring of vehicle thefts spanning across several states, the Angelina County Sheriff’s Office said. The vehicle which was recovered during the pursuit was a red Dodge Charger Hellcat which was reported stolen out of Tennessee. Both men are currently being held in the Angelina County Jail on charges of theft of property $30,000<$150,000, a third-degree felony, and evading with a vehicle, a third-degree felony. Other charges could be pending due to this being an active investigation.
