ALTO, Texas (KLTV) - Alto ISD is asking for community prayers and support after their high school principal’s son died in a club shooting.
Shanequa Redd-Dorsey’s son, Keion Dewayne Redd, 24, of Jacksonville, was killed alongside Keundas Jamoure Sanford, 32, of Tyler, in a Sunday shooting at Club Exotic in Smith County.
“Our hearts are heavy as we lift up AHS Principal Shanequa Redd-Dorsey and her family during this unimaginable time following the tragic loss of their son, Keion,” the school said in a social media statement.
“There are no words that can ease this kind of grief, but we want the Redd-Dorsey family to know they are surrounded by a community that loves them. Please join us in keeping them in your thoughts and prayers in the days and weeks ahead.”
Viewing services were announced for Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Community Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
Homegoing services were announced for Saturday at 12 p.m. at First Methodist Church in Jacksonville.
