ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - Alexandria Police Department reported a crash on Friday, November 28, killed Donald Dotson Jr., 43, of Alexandria.
APD responded to the intersection of MacArthur Drive and Coliseum Boulevard at around 6:30 a.m. Friday. At the scene, Dotson Jr. was discovered and taken to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to injuries.
According to APD, Dotson Jr. was the driver of an electric scooter that was involved in a wreck with a motor vehicle.
Routine toxicology samples were collected for analysis and, based on those results, APD said impairment is not suspected.
