LUFKIN, Texas (KTRE) - 911 service has been restored in Lufkin. As of 3:15 p.m. Monday, 911 service has been restored to Lufkin, according to City of Lufkin Communications Director Jessica Pebsworth. However, it is unclear if it has been fully restored to the surrounding DETCOG area that was also affected. We have reached out to DETCOG for an update.
