TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - A child was killed and another injured in a wreck on Sunday night in Tyler. According to Texas DPS, Sharya L. Snow, 18, of Tyler was driving a 2018 Kia Forte, headed west on Hwy 64, about two miles west of Tyler on Sunday at 7:15 p.m. Her passengers were Laiyah G. Mitchell, 7, and Shaud D. Dewberry, 12, both also from Tyler. According to the DPS preliminary report, Snow pulled over into the left turn lane, and then turned into the path of a 2014 Ram 3500 pickup. The report states that Snow and Dewberry, as well as the driver of the Ram, suffered non-incapacitating injuries in the wreck. However, Laiyah Mitchell died at the scene. The survivors were taken to a Tyler hospital.
