NATCHITOCHES PARISH, La. (KALB) - On Tuesday, February 10, Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office announced the resolution of a year-long federal investigation into the spread of fentanyl in Natchitoches Parish.
According to NPSO, the Western District Court of Louisiana has indicted five people from Natchitoches and Rapides Parishes on multiple drug offenses. Per court documents, the indictment was received by the Alexandria Division on December 3, 2025.
All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. The following people were indicted with multiple offenses related to the sale of drugs:
- Edward “Pooh” Paige of Natchitoches
- Conspiracy to Distribute Fentanyl
- Distribution of Fentanyl
- Donovan “NuFive” Solitaire of Natchez
- Conspiracy to Distribute Fentanyl
- Possession with Intent to Distribute Fentanyl
- Maintaining a Drug Premises
- Raven Gray of Natchez
- Maintaining a Drug Premises
- Kendrick Moses of Alexandria
- Conspiracy to Distribute Fentanyl
- Possession with Intent to Distribute Fentanyl
- Quenderrick “Bing” Williams of Colfax
- Conspiracy to Distribute Fentanyl

The operation was specifically targeting gang violence and the distribution of fentanyl within Natchitoches Parish. The following agencies were involved with the investigation, per NPSO:
- Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI)
- FBI Safe Streets Task Force
- Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit (NPSO DEU)
- Natchitoches Police Department
- Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office
- Louisiana State Police
Though this investigation has concluded, officials said the partnership between the FBI and local law enforcement will continue, “in hopes of further curbing violence and drug trafficking throughout the region.”
Natchitoches Parish Sheriff Steven Wright released the following statement alongside Tuesday’s announcement:
“I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Western District of Louisiana, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Louisiana State Police, Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office, and the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit for their outstanding work and dedication in the recent federal indictments involving individuals trafficking the illegal and extremely dangerous narcotic fentanyl in Natchitoches Parish.
This successful investigation and prosecution are the result of strong partnerships, tireless efforts, and a shared commitment to protecting our community. Fentanyl continues to pose a serious threat to public safety, and these actions send a clear message that drug trafficking and related criminal activity will not be tolerated in our parish.
