The Tyler County Sheriff’s Department says a search warrant at a house in the Fred Community turned up drugs, guns, and explosives. Sheriff Bryan Weatherford said his deputies, along with DPS and ATF, served the warrant at 375 County Road 4880. Weatherford said as officers were rolling up, the occupants of the house, Brandon Colotta and Jennifer Lamb, both 37, were driving away so officers stopped them and they were arrested. Once in the house, Weatherford said officers located the following:
~ 30 pounds of marijuana
~ 5.1 ounces of psilocybin (psychedelic) mushrooms
~ 5.2 pounds of THC edibles, oils, and wax items
~ Several trash bags filled with prescription pills
~ UZI style handgun
~ Handgun which had been reported missing
~ Explosive devices, including threaded pipe and gun powder
~ An 18-wheeler trailer converted into a drug lab
Brandon Colotta and Jennifer Lamb were each charged with 2 counts of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance and 1 count of Possession of Marijuana. Bond on Colotta was set at $600,000.00 and bond on Lamb was set at $550,000.00.
