SMITH COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) - Two men were killed and two women were injured in a shooting at a Smith County nightclub early Sunday morning, according to the sheriff’s office.
According to the Smith County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to Club Exotic in the 10000 block of Highway 64 West around 1:45 a.m. Multiple gunshot victims were reported at the location, and deputies were told the suspect left the scene in a vehicle.
Deputies found two deceased male gunshot victims in the parking lot. A third victim, a woman with a gunshot wound to the leg, was located inside the club, according to the sheriff’s office.
Deputies helped to stop the bleeding and the woman was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The sheriff’s office said deputies learned, a fourth victim, also a woman with a gunshot wound to the leg, arrived at a hospital by personal vehicle. The sheriff’s office said she was in surgery with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.
Smith County investigators say they have identified one suspect but also believe other shooters could be involved.
