POLK COUNTY, Texas (KTRE) - A man is behind bars after a shooting left one man seriously injured in Polk County.
According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, multiple law enforcement agencies responded to a shooting on Wilson Road in Polk County.
After investigating the area, law enforcement officers found the suspect, Lee David Strole, 39, of Livingston, hiding in a wooded area near Parrish Road.
The victim was flown to an out-of-county hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The PCSO would like to assure the public that this was an isolated incident and there is no ongoing threat to the community.
