Over the past 24 hours, the San Augustine County Sheriff’s Office reports arrests. All persons accused of a crime are to be presumed innocent until proven guilty. Jessica Renee Starks, black female, arrested on charges of fleeing/eluding police officer, by San Augustine Police Department. She remains in jail.
Dave Arthur Jones, black male, arrested on charges of probation violation, Harris County warrant, by San Augustine Police Department. He remains in jail.
