Robert J. Louis passed away on December 27, 2024 in Baker, Louisiana. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 13, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Johnson Temple C.O.G.I.C. in Leesville, LA. Burial will follow in the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville, LA. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 13^th from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at the church.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    On January 08, 2025, Barbara Martin Dowden, passed away at 89. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at First Baptist Church of Gillis, La., from 5-8 p.m. and on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, from 9 a.m. until time of service. Her service will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at First Baptist Church of Gillis at 10:30 a.m. Rev. EJ McCann will officiate the service. Burial will follow at the New Kisatchie Cemetery after the service at 2 p.m.
