Floyd Wright officiating. James “Pud” Eaves, 88, of Merit, TX, passed away on August 25, 2024, in Greenville, TX. The graveside service for James “Pud” Eaves will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Cannon Cemetery in Merryville, LA. Norma Lee Doyle Droddy, age 93, passed from her earthly home into her Savior’s arms on August 24,2024 Visitation will be held Saturday, August 31, 2024, from 12:00 PM until the time of service at 2:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Brother Donnis Ashworth will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Good Hope Cemetery in Singer, LA. Funeral services to honor the life of Jerry Lynn Jeane will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at East Leesville Baptist Church, with Reverends Tommy Kiker and Mark Christian officiating. Following the service, Jerry will be laid to rest at Flactor Cemetery. A visitation will be held at East Leesville Baptist Church on Friday, August 30th, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., and again on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Jerry passed away in his hometown on August 25, 2024, at the age of 63. Teresa Lynn Simmons, a beloved mother, daughter, and friend, passed away on August 22, 2024. Cremation has been entrusted to Myers Colonial Funeral Home, and services will be set on a later date by the family. Tessa Brooke Coutee was born on December 19, 1997, in Natchitoches, Louisiana to Bradley Scott Coutee and Wendy Brevelle Andes and passed away on August 22, 2024, in Lena, Louisiana.
