Many Tigers roll over Rosepine 50-12

High school football plays 48 minutes to determine a winner, but Friday night it took the Many Tigers only 7:31 into the opening quarter to open up a 30-0 lead and would defeat the Rosepine Eagle's 50-12 in a quarterfinal game.
      The Tigers opening drive of 64 yards was climaxed by a 47 TD run by Jeremiah James with 10:23 into the game for a 6-0 lead
        A bad snap on 4th down by  the Eagles, resulted in a 1st and goal at the 5 for the Tigers as James scored on a 2 yard TD run.  The pat was good for a 14-0 lead with 8:33 still in the first quarter.
       The Eagles , on a 2nd down play, had their pass intercepted by Jayvion Smart who would return it from 28 yards out and the Tigers lead now was at 22-0 , 7:49 left in the first quarter.
        The Eagles misfortune continues.  On their 1st play after receiving the kickoff, fumble at the 24, the Tigers recovered.
        On 1st down, Tackett Curtis completed a pass to a wide open Jack Deville for a touchdown of 24 yards. With the pat, the Tigers opened up a 30-0 lead with 7:31 left in the first quarter.
        The Eagles came back with TD passes of 33 & 11 yards to make it 30-12 with 2:21remaining in the second quarter.
         But the Tigers would answer right back, as London Williams scored on a 20 yard TD run with :28 remaining in the first half.  36-12 at the half.
       In the third quarter, London Williams scored on a 4 yard TD run to increase the Tigers lead to 44-12 with 7:42 remaining in the third quarter.
       Jeremiah James closed out the scoring on the night with a 5 yard TD run as the Tigers advance with the 50-12 victory.
      The Tigers offense totaled 314 yards, while Rosepine had 173 yards.
          London William's had 121 yards on 20 carries and 2 TD'S. Jeremiah James rushed for 107 yards on 13 carries and added three touchdowns.
       Jack Deville had 2 receptions for 40 yards and a touchdown.
        The Tigers will be on their home turf this Friday as they will host Avoyelles in a semifinal game. Kickoff 7 o'clock.
        With the victory, the Tigers improved to 12-1,while Rosepine closed out at 11-2.
