Many defeats Jonesboro Hodge 38 to 6. The Many High tigers improve to 5-2 and 3-0 in district as defeated Jonesboro Hodge tigers 38-6 last Friday night at Jonesboro Hodge. Both teams started slowly in this contest, as it would be the Many High Tiger's getting on the scoreboard first as Jaxon Foster took in a 5 yard reception from quarterback Hayden Evans to jump out to a 7-0 lead on Deacon LaFollette pat It took MHS Tigers 1min and 12 seconds to go 38 yards in 5 plays. Jonesboro Hodge unleased a long 75-yard touchdown pass but the pat failed so MHS lead 7-6 with 3:30 left in the first quarter. The MHS tigers on their next possession would Stall at the J Hodge 3-yard line, and J Hodge recovered an MHS fumble. J Hodge playing tough against the Tigers defense as they held the ball for four minutes and 30 seconds but late in the drive J Hodge was forced to punt as MHS Tigers took over at their own 25 , with 5 :22 left in the first quarter.

Jeremiah James ripped off 21 yards to the 46. The next 2 plays resulting in 0 yards. Evans passed 5 yards to Foster to bring up a 4th down and 5. Evans completed a 17-yard pass to J.C. Hendrickson for a first down at the 32. From the Wildcat formation, Singleton picked up 16 yards and then followed that with a 16-yard touchdown run, as LaFollette pat had MHS leading 14-6, with 2:20 left in the first half.

After a J-Hodge punt, the ball came to rest at MHS 24-yard line, and only 1:01 left in the half. On third and 10, :30 remaining, Evans hooked up with Singleton for 71 yards pass play, that went all the way down to J-Hodge 5 with only :08 left. Evans ran out of bounds with :04 on the clock. Then Singleton, from the Wildcat, carried the ball into the end zone from 2 yards out to build MHS lead to 21-6 on LaFollette pat at the half.

With J-Hodge showing some offense late in the third quarter as they moved down to the MHS 16. On third and ten, J-Hodge attempted a pass, but Singleton intercepted the pass at the 10 and would return it 90 yards for another MHS touchdown with 3:29 remaining in the third quarter. LaFollette pat was good for a 28-6 MHS lead.

With 7:12, remaining in the game, James would add another touchdown for the MHS Tigers, this an 8-yard run. LaFollette, once again pat is good for a 35-6 score.

The Tigers would complete the scoring for the night in fashion as LaFollette boomed a 45-yard field goal, with 2.49 remaining in the game.

Offensively, James had 125 yards on 26 carries, Evans completed 9-15 for 149 yards, 1 td, 170 all-purpose yards, Singleton, 7 carries for 63 yards, 68 receiving yards, 138 all-purpose yards, 3 tds on the night. Demarion Woods 6 carries for 40 yards, Ky Warren 2 reception for 18 yards, Foster 3 for 18, 1 touchdown, J.C. Hendrickson 2 reception for 25 yards and Masen Leach 1 for 20 yards.

MHS Tigers return home this Friday as they will host the Red River Bulldog's for a 7:00 kickoff. It also is Senior night.
