- Richard James "Jim" Caspari, Jr., age 78, of Natchitoches, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025. He was born on December 1, 1946, in Natchitoches, Louisiana, to the late Richard James "Dick" Caspari, Sr., and Anne Louise Tarter Caspari. A memorial service will be held at Bellwood Baptist Church on Saturday, October 4, 2025. Visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with services beginning at 12:00 p.m.
- Bonnie Rae (Dunn) Brister, a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, and faithful servant of God, passed away on September 25, 2025, in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was 87 years old. A celebration of Bonnie's life will be held on Saturday, October 4th, 2025, at the First Baptist Church of Florien, Louisiana, with visitation at Noon, followed by the service at 1 pm. Burial will follow in the Florien Cemetery.
- Hazel Diane Whiddon Nolen, who left us on September 26, 2025, at the age of 76. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 9:00AM until the start of the service at 1:00PM. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 1:00 PM, also at Myers Colonial Funeral Home. Brother Bobby Pfantz will officiate the service. Diane will be laid to rest at Newlin Cemetery in Singer, Louisiana.
- Lula Edith Waller, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2025, at the age of 87. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, from 9:30 until the time of the service at Hopewell Baptist Church, DeRidder, Louisiana. Lula's funeral will be held at Hopewell Baptist Church in DeRidder, Louisiana, on October 1, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Hopewell Cemetery in DeRidder, Louisiana
- Larry Michael Phillips (Michael T.) passed away on September 23, 2025. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at the Bingo Hall in New Llano
- Sandra "Sandy" Gail Perry Lee, passed away on September 24, 2025. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 2, 2025, from 3:00 PM until the time of memorial service at 5:00 PM at New Life Baptist Church in DeRidder, LA. Brother Mike Mitchell will officiate the service. Cremation has been entrusted to Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.
- Wilfredo "Freddy" Cruz-Rios passed away September 20, 2025, in Alexandria, Louisiana at the age of 70. A memorial service with military honors will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, October 3, 2025, at the Central Louisiana Veteran's Cemetery in Leesville.
