- Funeral services for Hearld "Mike" Brown, 81, of Marthaville, LA, will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Emmanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Patrick Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in the Spring Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Emmanuel Baptist Church.
- Funeral services for Paula D. Brumley Peek, 65, of Pickering, Louisiana will be held at 12:00 on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Cooper Baptist Church with Bro. Anthony Eaves officiating. Burial will follow in the Stephens Cemetery under the direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 from 11:00 am until the time of service at Cooper Baptist Church. Paula, passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2025, in Houston, TX.
- Graveside services for Pamela Jean Leonard will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the shiloh cemetery with visitation beginning at 10 also at the cemetery. Interment will follow the service.
- Mellionee Byrd Flores, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2025, at the age of 94, in Leesville, Louisiana. A funeral service to celebrate Mellionee's extraordinary life will be held on September 3, 2025, at 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Hornbeck with Bro. Wayne Chance officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill in Toro under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd from 11:00 AM until time of service at the church.
