- Connie Lynn Harvey Keel, who left us on September 13, 2025, in her hometown of DeRidder. A funeral service will be held in her honor at Myers Colonial Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 1:00 PM. Prior to the service, a public viewing will take place from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Brother John Nichlos will officiate the service. Following the ceremony, Connie will be cremated, and a private burial will take place at a later date.
- Funeral services for Chade Eric Wilson will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at Big Hammock Baptist Church with Reverends Benji Rhame and Dobie Perkins officiating. The burial will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Chade passed away September 13, 2025, in Hineston, Louisiana at the age of 48
- Gideon Michael Capitano, 19, passed away September 7, 2025. Visitation will be Wednesday at 10:00 AM. at the Fort Polk Main Post Chapel. Memorial services are to follow at 11:30 a.m. also at the Fort Polk Main Post Chapel. Burial will follow the service in the Central Louisiana Veteran Cemetery.
- Clarriece Maxine Whitley Rector passed from this life on Saturday, September 13, 2025. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in DeRidder, LA. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in DeRidder, with Rev. Danny Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, DeRidder, LA.
- Funeral services for Patricia "Pat" Davis Bruce will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at East Leesville Baptist Church with Reverend Tommy Kiker officiating. The burial will follow in Mount Bethel Cemetery under the direction of Jeane's Funeral Service. A visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
- Loretta Marie Jackson, 41, of DeRidder, LA passed away Thursday, September 11, 2025. Celebration of Life service will be Saturday, September 20 at 11 am at Salvation Center St. Mary Church of God in Christ. Rev. William Roberson will officiate.
- Rodney Michael Blake, 62, of DeRidder, LA passed away Saturday, September 6, 2025. Celebration of Life service will be Saturday, September 20 at 10am at Star of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Rev. J.B. Martin and Rev. Imad Muhammed will officiate.
- Linda Sue Spiridon, 76, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Labby Memorial Chapel.
