- Funeral services for Jed Thomas Kersey will be held on Friday September 12, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Beech Grove Congregational Methodist Church. Pastors Brent Noble and Todd Egan will be officiating the service. The burial will follow in Burr Ferry Cemetery under the direction of Jeane's Funeral Service.
- Rebecca Jane "Jane" Nickerson Beltz, 75, of Leesville, Louisiana has passed away. Burial will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. at Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery. The procession will be from Labby Memorial at 9:30 AM to the cemetery.
- Leo J. Liles, Jr. passed away peacefully at his home in Anacoco, Louisiana on September 07, 2025, at the age of 83. Visitation Services will be held on Friday, September 12 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville, Louisiana. He will be laid to rest at Good Hope Cemetery in Anacoco, Louisiana at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2025.
- Mr. Curtis Edward Bass, a beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend transitioned peacefully at Christus Highland Medical Center in Shreveport, LA on September 3, 2025, at the age of 70. The viewing will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 13 followed by the homegoing ceremony at 11:00 am.
- Lloyd Ray Manning, 75years old, passed on September 10, 2025, A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Myers Colonial Funeral Home at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 13, 2025. Pastor Glass will officiate the service. A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 10:00am until the start of the service at 1:00pm. Burial will follow the service at Shiloh Baptist Cemetery.
- Alma Odessa Marze Erwin, passed away on September 10, 2025, at the age of 93. A public viewing will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Reverend Sullivan Turner and Reverend Charlie Bailey will officiate the service. Alma will be laid to rest later that day at Magnolia Cemetery in Ragley, Louisiana.
