- Jonathan James Perkins, who left us on October 1, 2025, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The funeral service will follow on Monday, October 6, 2025, at 10:00 AM, also at Myers Colonial Funeral Home. Dr. Jack Perkins will officiate the service. He will be laid to rest after the service at Gravel Hill Cemetery at 1382 Gravel Hill Church Rd, Pitkin, LA
- Visitation for Bernice Lorraine Hetrick Berry on Tuesday from 5 - 8 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 9 - 11 a.m. at the Castor Baptist church. Funeral services will be at the church on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with burial to follow in the Castor Baptist cemetery.

- Christopher Scott Pruitt (Scottie), of Leesville, Louisiana, passed away on September 28, 2025, at the age of 52. A celebration of Scottie's life will be held at 2:00PM on October 25, 2025 at Holly Grove Methodist Church in Anacoco, Louisiana.
