- Lee Vincent McLaughlin, Sr., 68, of DeRidder, Louisiana, passed away on October 15, 2025, in DeRidder. Visitation will be held on Thursday October 23, 2025, from 11:00 AM until 2:00PM at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder, Louisiana. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM, also at Labby Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Wesley S. Manning officiating. Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder.
- Bruce D. Westmoreland, of Leesville, LA, died peacefully in his home on October 16, 2025, at the age of 87. Services will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 3:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church of Leesville (1400 Nolan Drive). Visitation will be held from 1:30 P.M. until time of service at the church on Thursday, October 23rd. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery (128 Pine Hill Church Rd in Leesville under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville.
- Bobbie Ann Palmer Franklin on October 13, 2025. Bobbie passed at the age of 66 in DeRidder, LA. Visitation will be Friday, October 24, 2025, at 9:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Pastor Kenneth Seastrunk will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
- Ernestine "Cookie" Hauser passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025, at the age of 94. A celebration of life will be Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder, Louisiana. Visitation will be on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Internment will follow at Beauregard Cemetery.
- Rev. Samuel Leonard Kelly, Sr., 86, of DeRidder, LA passed away Friday, October 17, 2025. Visitation will be Saturday, October 25 from 10am-1pm at Norris Memorial C.O.G.I.C. Funeral service will be Saturday, October 25 at 1 pm at Norris Memorial C.O.G.I.C. Interment will be at Beauregard Cemetery.
- Christopher Scott Pruitt (Scottie), of Leesville, Louisiana, passed away on September 28, 2025, at the age of 52. A celebration of Scottie's life will be held at 2:00PM on October 25, 2025 at Holly Grove Methodist Church in Anacoco, Louisiana.
- Thomas "Tom" Carl Gilson passed away October 8, 2025, in Leesville, Louisiana at the age of 67. Tom's family will plan a memorial service for a future date.
