- Mary Lou Owens, 83, of Jasper, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Shultz Funeral Home in Jasper. The family will greet friends from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
- Clayton Lamar Cole, passed away peacefully on October 13, at the age of 85, in Alexandria. Born on April 12, 1940, in Glenmora. Visitation will be held on today, at Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in DeRidder, Louisiana, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The funeral service for Clayton will take place on Friday, October 17, at 10:00 am at Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in DeRidder, Louisiana. Following the service, interment will be at Wisby Cemetery in Cravens, Louisiana
- Billy Joe Lockhart, Sr., 79, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday morning, October 11, 2025. He was Born on September 7, 1946. Services will be held at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Visitation will take place tomorrow, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., and again on Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the service at 11:00 a.m. There will be no graveside service.
- Royce Calvin Ashworth, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on August 28, 1957, in Deridder. A funeral service will be held at Myers Colonial Funeral Home on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 1:00 PM. A visitation will take place at the funeral home from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Burial will follow the service at Good Hope Baptist Cemetery in Singer, LA.

- Christopher Scott Pruitt (Scottie), of Leesville, Louisiana, passed away on September 28, 2025, at the age of 52. A celebration of Scottie's life will be held at 2:00PM on October 25, 2025 at Holly Grove Methodist Church in Anacoco, Louisiana.
