- Sarah Boyd, 62, of Jasper passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025 in Jasper. A Celebration of Life Service and Gathering will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at 105 Houston St. Newton, Texas.
- Virginia Lee Wilson, who left us on October 27, 2025, at the age of 86. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Myers Colonial Funeral Home, followed by a burial at Smyrna Cemetery. Brother Jon Tellifero will officiate the service
- Dannie Wayne Whitt passed away on November 3, 2025 in Leesville, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville. Burial will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025 at 1:30 P.M at the Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville.
- Ruby Lee Stuckey Cole, left us on November 2, 2025, at the age of 80. Funeral service, which will take place on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of DeRidder. A public viewing will be held earlier that day, starting at 9:30 AM. Brother Steve Thomas will officiate the service. Following the service, Ruby will be laid to rest at Smyrna Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
- Robert (Robbie) J. Crawford went to be with Jesus on November 2, 2025. A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025 from 10:00-11:00 AM followed by the memorial service at 11:00 AM. Viewing and memorial service will be held at East Leesville Baptist Church.
- Fredia Gail Hogue, 69, of Pitkin, LA passed away Monday, November 3, 2025. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 5 from 5pm-8pm and Thursday, November 6 from 10am-1pm at Smyrna Baptist Church. Funeral service will be Thursday, November 6 at 1pm at Smyrna Baptist Church. Interment will be at Smyrna Cemetery. Rev. Tim Lee will officiate.
- Glenda Monica Wilson, 87, of Nederland, passed away on October 31, 2025, at Oak Grove Nursing Home in Groves, Texas. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, at 12:00pm in the chapel of Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, Louisiana. Burial will follow the service in Shiloh Baptist Cemetery in DeRidder, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 07, 2025, from 10:00am until the service at 12:00pm.
- Glendon Doyle Hillman, who departed this world on November 1, 2025, at the age of 83. Funeral services will be held on November 7, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Labby Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7th from 9:30 A.M. until time of service at the funeral home.
