- Funeral services for Sidney Young Lucius Sr. 83 of Florien, LA will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 3rd, 2025 at the First Baptist Church in Florien. Reverend Bruce Garner
and Reverend Wayne Chance will be officiating the services. A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2nd, 2025, starting at 5 PM and ending at 7 PM, and then starting again at
12:00 PM on Monday until time of service. Interment will follow in the Florien Cemetery under the direction of Jeane Funeral Service of Leesville, LA. - Bonnie Bee Hughes Lane, 82, passed away Friday, October 31, 2025 in Center, Texas. She was born November 8, 1942 in Center, Texas to Velton B Hughes and Bonnie Ruth Franks Hughes. All are welcome to join the family for a committal service Tuesday, November 4 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery on County Road 1470 between Center and Timpson.
- Mr. Steven Shirley, age 60, of Broaddus, Texas, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2025, at his residence. Service details are pending and will be announced later.

Sidney Young Lucius Sr. was born to Alfred and Nellie Lucius on December 25th, 1941. He passed on from this life on October 31st, 2025.
- Virginia Lee Wilson, who left us on October 27, 2025, at the age of 86. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Myers Colonial Funeral Home, followed by a burial at Smyrna Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a public viewing on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., also at Myers Colonial Funeral Home. Brother Jon Tellifero will officiate the service.
