- Mr. Brandon Wayne Bennett, age 33, of Shelby County, Texas, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at his residence. He was born August 21, 1992, in Houston, Texas, to parents Larry Wayne Bennett and lshmeil Allegra Romirez. Visitation will be Friday, November 21, 2025, 5:00pm to 7:00pm, at the Harvey Creek Baptist Church, in Broaddus, Texas. Service will be Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 10:00am, at Harvey Creek Baptist Church, in Broaddus, Texas, with Bro. Thomas Foster officiating.
- Alvaro Coronel, 85, of DeRidder, LA passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2025. Funeral service will be today at 10am at Christway Church. Interment will be at Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery.
- A memorial service for Jennie Lea Jeane will be held at 1:00 p.m. today, at Hearts United Christian Fellowship with Reverend Todd Egan officiating. The burial will follow in Evans Cemetery under the direction of Jeane's Funeral Service. A visitation will be held at the church today from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service.
- Laron Monroe Baggett, also lovingly known as "Pawpaw Bagg," who left us at the age of 72. Funeral service will be held at Myers Colonial Funeral Home today, at 12:00 pm, where family and friends can pay their respects. A public viewing will also be held on today, at 10:00 am, followed by burial later that day at Hamilton Cemetery in Grant, LA.
- Epsy Kathleen "Matlock" Kulaga, age 70, of DeRidder, Louisiana, passed away on November 15, 2025, in Lafayette, Louisiana. Visitation will be held today, at 10:00 AM at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder, Louisiana. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM, followed by burial at 12:30 PM at Cooper Cemetery. The Funeral Services will be officiated by Bro. Gary DarDar
- Nancy Jane Phy, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2025, in Deridder, Louisiana, at the age of 75. A public viewing will be held at Smyrna Baptist Church on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 12:00 PM. Following the viewing, a memorial service will take place at the same location at 1:00 PM.
- Antoinette R. Williams was born on October 25, 1964 passed away November 19th. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville, Louisiana. Burial will follow in the Leesville Memorial Cemetery.
- Funeral services for Reginald Anthony Welch will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Good Hope Baptist Church with Reverends Chris Welch and James Kay officiating. The burial will follow in Gum Springs Cemetery under the direction of Jeane's Funeral Service.
