- Visitation for Tony "Ake" Meshell will be Monday, November 10, 2025, 1:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Many, LA. Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 11, 2025, 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with interment to follow at St. Ann Catholic Cemetery in Zwolle, Louisiana.
- Doniece Smith, 91, of San Augustine peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on November 6, 2025 at Stone Creek Care Center. Visitation will be held Friday, November 14, 2025, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with her Celebration of Life on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at her Garden Gazebo at 196 Smith Lake Rd. San Augustine. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 at Thomas Cemetery on Hwy 21.
- Funeral services for Alishea Yvette McLendon will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at 11:30 A.M. at New Willow Baptist Church with Pastor Ronale Coleman Sr. officiating. Burial will follow the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13th from 9:00 A.M. until time of service at the church.
- DonPatton Matthew "Matt" Pierce, 38, of Pitkin, Louisiana, passed away on October 31, 2025. A memorial service to honor Matt's life will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Fort Polk Main Post Chapel. Military honors will be rendered in recognition of his faithful service to the Nation.
