- Horace Lynn Wingate, 73, left this world peacefully on May 3, 2026. A funeral service will take place at Myers Colonial Funeral Home on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow the service in Cooper Cemetery.
- Ricky Saunders, 63, of Winona, TX, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2026. A graveside service will be held at Blue Branch Cemetery in Pitkin, Louisiana on Thursday, May 7 at 1pm. Bro. Mike Boone will officiate.
- Dana Kay Booth, who went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at the age of 64. A celebration of her life will be held at Turning Point Apostolic Church on Friday, May 8, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Visitation will be Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, also at Turning Point Apostolic Church in DeRidder, Louisiana. Brother Justin Hancock and Brother Jon Hair will officiate the service. Burial will follow the service at Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville, Louisiana.

A wake for Frances will be held Friday, May 8th at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Leesville, Louisiana from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with a rosary beginning at 12:15 p.m. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Adam Travis at 1:00 p.m. Following the Mass, burial will be at Cooper Baptist Church Cemetery in Pickering, Louisiana

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Ronald Young will officiate the service. A repass will be held following the service for family and friends to gather and share memories of Zach.
