- Funeral services for Armond Phillip James, 93, of Leesville will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. at Pine Hill Baptist Church in Leesville with Rev. Keith Dowden officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville. Visitation will be held today from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the church.
- James Edward Hanna passed away peacefully on May 21, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. He was 81 years old. Funeral services will be held today at First United Pentecostal Church at 12:00 PM with Bro. Mark Christian officiating. Burial will follow at the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will begin this morning at 9:00 AM and continue until time of service.
- Celia Margarita Santiago-Robles, who journeyed peacefully into eternal rest on May 24, 2026, at the age of 85. A Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at St. Michael's Church, located at 604 S. 5th St., Leesville, LA 71446. A Rosary Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., officiated by Father Travis and Father Michiels, at St. Michael's Church. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
- A graveside service for Johnny Lamar Nash will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 31, 2026, in Plunka' way Cemetery with Reverends Hunter Nash, Sky Miller, and Mike Nolen officiating under the direction of Jeane's Funeral Service. Johnny was born June 29, 1944, in Vernon Parish and passed away in his home in Evans, Louisiana May 27, 2026, at the age of 81.
- Gussie Sarah McKellar Cooley, passed away May 27, at the age of 71, surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be held at the Sugartown Pentecostal Church on Monday, June 1, 2026, at 11:00am, Brother Tim Denson, Brother Zale Lewis, Brother Chance Lewis, and Brother Benjamin Austin will officiate the service. A public viewing will take place on Sunday May 31, 2026, from 5:00pm till 8:00pm and resumes on Monday from 9:00am until the time of service at 11:00am. Burial will follow the service in Sugartown Cemetery.
