- Funeral services for Otis Sherwood Harrell will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Anacoco First Baptist Church with Reverend Chad King officiating. The burial with military honors will follow in Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery. A visitation will be held at Anacoco First Baptist Church on Wednesday, May 20th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Otis passed away May 15, 2026, in Pineville, Louisiana at the age of 77

A public viewing at Myers Colonial Funeral Home on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 11:00 am, followed by a memorial service that will be held at the same location on May 21, 2026, at 1:00 pm. Brother Brandon Gill will officiate the service. Cremation has been entrusted to Myers Colonial Funeral Home after services.
- John Chavis Sr., a devoted father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who left this world on May 17, 2026, at the age of 72. A public viewing will be held at Myers Colonial Funeral Home on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a memorial service starting at 1:00 PM. After the memorial service, cremation has been entrusted to Myers Colonial Funeral Home.
