Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 16, 2025, at the Church of Christ, located at 105 W. Market Street in San Augustine, Texas. Committal service and interment will follow at Thomas Cemetery on County Road 274. Linda Jean Whitehead, 78years old from Merryville, LA, passed away on May 11, 2025. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday May 15, 2025, at 11:00am in the chapel of Myers Colonial Funeral Home. Pastor Jason Fortenberry and Pastor Bart Coody will officiate. A visitation will be held at Myers Colonial Funeral Home on Thursday, May 15, 2025, from 9:00AM until the start of the service. The burial will reside at Old Cypress Cemetery. Deiphine Eloise Whipple passed away on May 3, 2025 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Rev. Carl Armstead officiating. Burial will follow in the Leesville Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville. Rachel Ophelia Bond, 84, entered peacefully into rest on Monday, May 12, 2025 in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Interment will follow at Lewis Cemetery in DeRidder, LA. Glenda Joyce Teasley, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, who left this world on May 13, 2025, in Alexandria, Louisiana. A funeral service will be held in Glenda's honor on May 19, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville, Louisiana. Burial will follow in the Noble Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2025 from 5:30 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Cremation services will be provided by Myers Colonial Funeral Home for Dennis Paul Lopez. He passed away on May 12. Services will be arranged at a later date.
