- Kathy T Birdwell, 65, of Natchitoches, LA was born on September 22, 1959 to Wilmer and Mary Tate Birdwell. Kathy went to her heavenly home on February 28, 2026. Visitation services for Kathy T. Birdwell will be Wednesday, March 4, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. until service time, at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at Jennings Chapel in Marthaville, LA. Burial will follow in Bethany Cemetery in Marthaville, LA. Bro. Matthew Pagels and Bro. Joe Hendrickson will be officiating.
- Betty Carolyn Gaskin Taylor, 77, of Anacoco, Louisiana, passed away on February 12, 2026, in Leesville, Louisiana. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 3:00 PM on March 7, 2026, at Good Hope Baptist Church in Anacoco, Louisiana.
- Glenda Farrell Goff, 89, of DeRidder, LA passed away Thursday, February 26, 2026. Her graveside service will be Friday, March 6 at 11 am at Texas State Veterans Cemetery of Abilene.
- Kenneth Wayne Williamson, a loving husband, father and grandfather who left us on March 2, 2026, at the age of 68. A Celebration of Life service for Kenneth will take place at the Merryville Community Center on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 12:00 pm
- Reginal Norris Fletcher, Jr., who left us on March 1, 2026, at the age of 76. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Reggie's life with a funeral service at Myers Colonial Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 11:00 am. There will be a public viewing prior to the service starting at 9:00 am that same day. Following the service, Reggie will be laid to rest at Cannon Cemetery in Merryville, LA.
