- Rex "Butch" Joseph Angelle, Jr., 75, of Lafayette, LA passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2026. Visitation will be Monday, March 16 from 11 am-1pm at Chaddick Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Monday, March 16 at 1 pm at Chaddick Funeral Home. Interment will be at Rosepine Cemetery. Rev. Gary Bankson will officiate.
- William "Bill" Arnold, 69, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026, in Leesville, Louisiana. A celebration of Bill's life will be held at Christian Living Fellowship on Monday, March 16, 2026 at 6:00 P.M. A visitation will be held on Monday, 16th from 5:00 P.M. until time of service at the church.
- Joan Lavern Batchelor (Cooley), 73, passed away Friday, March 13, 2026 in DeRidder, LA. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 17 from 3:30-5:30pm at First Baptist Church of DeRidder. Celebration of Life service will be Tuesday, March 17 at 5:30pm at First Baptist Church of DeRidder. Rev. Nelson Santa Ana and Bro. Tim Cooley will officiate.
- Jerry Lewis Stracener, 51, a cherished brother, uncle, and friend, who passed away on March 13, 2026. To honor and celebrate the life of Jerry Lewis Stracener, a service will be held on March 17, 2026, at 3:00 PM at the Lone Star Baptist Church. The church is located on Lone Star Baptist Church Rd. in Pitkin, Louisiana. Jerry's Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at Lone Star Baptist Church from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 3:00 PM. Interment will follow at Smyrna Cole Cemetery in Deridder, LA.
