- A memorial service for Diana Serrett Davis, 68, will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Siloam Baptist Church, 35480 Hwy 191, Many, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Brother Chuck Lusk.
- Kathy Sherffius, 76, of Broaddus, Texas, passed away Monday, March 9, 2026, at University of Texas Medical Center in Tyler, Texas. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 29, 2026, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home chapel in San Augustine, Texas, with Dr. W. Wayne Barth officiating. Inurnment will be at the Broaddus Cemetery.
- John Malcolm Cardy, Sr.,71, of DeRidder, LA passed from this life peacefully on March 7, 2026. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 8:00 AM until the time of service at 10:00 AM, also at Fullerton Community Church. Reverend Dale Mortenson will officiate the service. Burial will follow the service at Glass Window Cemetery in Slagle, LA.
- Toni Layne James-Doyle, 58, of DeRidder, LA passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2026. Funeral service will be Wednesday, March 11 at 11am at Chaddick Funeral Home. Interment will be at Whitaker Cemetery. Rev. Gary Bankson will officiate.
- Morris "Payne" Major Sr., who left us on March 4, 2026, at the age of 86. Funeral services to honor Payne's life will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026 with Visitation from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 at New Hope CME Church. The funeral will follow at 11:00am in the chapel of New Hope CME Church. Pastor Quincey Major will be officiating the services. Burial will follow the service at Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery at 1:30 pm. A repast will be held at the hall of New Hope CME Church at 3:30 pm.
- Herman Lee Erwin, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026, at the age of 89, in Rosepine, Louisiana. Funeral services will be held at First United Pentecostal Church in Leesville on Friday, March 13, 2026, at 11:00 A.M., officiated by Rev. Mark Christian, alongside Rev. Gerald Milstead and Rev. Paul Webb. Visitation will begin at 9:00 A.M. on Friday, March 13, 2026, and continue until the time of the service at the church. Burial will follow at Mitchell cemetary.
- Linda Sue Dace Canoy, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2026, in Leesville Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville with Rev. Wesley S. Manning officiating. Burial will follow in the Canaan Baptist Cemetery in Leesville. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14th from 12:00 P.M. until time of service at the funeral home.
