- Donnis Marie James passed away on May 31. Visitation will be at the Lone star Baptist church on Thursday at 3 p.m. with funeral services Friday at the church at 10 a.m.. burial following the service at the Lon Star cemetary in Pitkin.
- Raulin Ramos Travis, who entered into eternal rest on May 30, 2026, at the age of 79. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, with burial to follow.
- Mary Lou Simmons Jantz, who entered her eternal home on May 30, 2026, at the age of 91. All Services will be held at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder, Louisiana. Visitation and Funeral will be on June 04, 2026 with Visitation from 8am-10am and Funeral to start at 10am. Burial will follow directly after at Beauregard Cemetery.
- Richard James Palmer, 35, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2026, in Lafayette, LA. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Pastor Kenneth Seastrunk will officiate the service.
- A funeral service for Christie Lanette Hardy will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Jeane's Funeral Service in Hornbeck with Brother Buddy Freeman officiating. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 until the time of the service. Christie passed away on May 29, 2026, at her home in Noble at the age of 45
