- Loureen Bryant Plush, passed away on May 29, 2026, in DeRidder, Louisiana. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home. A public viewing will precede the service, starting at 10:00 AM. Brandon Plush will officiate the service. Loureen will be laid to rest following the service at Cooper Cemetery in Merryville, LA.
- Millard Richard Monk age 83, of Leesville passed away on May 28, 2026. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at Laurel Hill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Laurel Hill Cemetery. A visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday at the church.
- Donnis Marie James passed away on May 31. Visitation will be at the Lone star Baptist church on Thursday at 3 p.m. with funeral services Friday at the church at 10 a.m.. burial following the service at the Lon Star cemetary in Pitkin.
- Raulin Ramos Travis, who entered into eternal rest on May 30, 2026, at the age of 79. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, with burial to follow.
- Mary Lou Simmons Jantz, who entered her eternal home on May 30, 2026, at the age of 91. All Services will be held at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder, Louisiana. Visitation and Funeral will be on June 04, 2026 with Visitation from 8am-10am and Funeral to start at 10am. Burial will follow directly after at Beauregard Cemetery.
- A funeral service for Christie Lanette Hardy will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Jeane's Funeral Service in Hornbeck with Brother Buddy Freeman officiating. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 until the time of the service. Christie passed away on May 29, 2026, at her home in Noble at the age of 45.
