- Mrs. Johnnie Dell (Jessup) Dumesnil, age 94, of San Augustine County, Texas, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at Stone Creek Care Center in San Augustine, Texas. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home, located at 316 W. Columbia Street in San Augustine, Texas, with Bro. Randy Mills officiating. Committal service and interment will follow at Thomas Cemetery.
- George Edward Buckley Jr., lovingly known as Eddie or "Tex," passed away peacefully at home on June 18, 2026. Memorial services will be at the Labby Memorial funeral home in DeRidder on Saturday beginning at 1 p.m.
