- Mrs. Doyline Bennefield, age 95, of San Augustine County, Texas, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2026, in San Augustine. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home, located at 316 W. Columbia Street in San Augustine, Texas. Funeral services are set for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel. Committal service and interment will follow at Sowell Cemetery.
- Hollis Culver O'Neal, passed away on June 19, 2026, at the age of 93. A public visitation will be held at First Baptist Church of DeRidder, on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, from 9:00 AM until time of service at 10:00 AM. Brother Jerry Masters and Brother Nelson Santa Ana will officiate the service. Following the service, he will be laid to rest at Beauregard Cemetery in Deridder, LA.
- Rose Yvonne Neely Laurence, a beloved mother, grandmother, adventurer, and gifted baker, who left us on June 21, 2026, in her hometown of Merryville, Louisiana. To celebrate her life, a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home, with a public viewing from 1:00 PM that same day. Brother Rex Johnson will be officiating the service.
- Funeral services for Eria Louise Singletary Martin, of Anacoco, LA, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at Holly Grove Methodist Church with Reverends Bill Moon and Dave Stewart officiating. The burial will follow Holly Grove Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Louise passed away June 22, 2026, in Leesville at the age of 88
- George Edward Buckley Jr., lovingly known as Eddie or "Tex," passed away peacefully at home on June 18, 2026. Memorial services will be at the Labby Memorial funeral home in DeRidder on Saturday beginning at 1 p.m.
