Funeral services for Glenda Gayle Anthony, 72, of Florien, LA, will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Antioch Baptist Church with Bro. Wayne Chance, Bro. Ray Hearron and Bro. Bill Blackmon officiating. Burial will follow in the Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Friday, June 27, 2025, at 5:00 PM at Spring Ridge Baptist Church.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Richard David Strahan, 60, of DeRidder, Louisiana, passed away peacefully at home on June 20, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder, Louisiana, with Bro. Ron Butler is officiating. The interment will follow at Hamilton Cemetery in Grant, Louisiana.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     A funeral service for Josette Rene' Myers will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at Christian Living Fellowship with Pastors Bobby Ganaway and Kaleb Ganaway officiating. A visitation will be held on Tuesday at the church from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service. Josette Rene' Myers passed from this life on June 16, 2025, at the age of 41.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Funeral services for Patrick David Carr will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at Jeane's Funeral Service with Reverend Wade Carroll officiating. The burial will follow in Old Anacoco Cemetery. A visitation will be held at Jeane's on Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 24 from 12pm-2pm at Smyrna Baptist Church. Funeral service will be Tuesday, June 24 at 2pm at Smyrna Baptist Church. Rev. Tim Lee will officiate.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Funeral visitation and services for Jay Benton Hawkes will be held 10 a.m. until noon on Wednesday with funeral services on Wednesday at 1 p.m.at the funeral home. A public viewing is scheduled for 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, Louisiana. Brother Randy Hennigan will officiate the service. Patricia will be laid to rest at Cannon Cemetery in Merryville, LA.
