- Cremation has been entrusted to Myers Colonial Funeral Home for Cathy Dee Buchanan Clark, age 73, of DeRidder, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2026. Service will be announced at a a later date.
- Swinney McCain, Jr., a beloved figure in our community, who left us on June 8, 2026, at the age of 65. Born on November 14, 1960, in Bon Wier, Texas. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Swinney's life during a funeral service at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. A public viewing will take place today, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by the service at 2:00 PM. He will be laid to rest at Belgrade Cemetery in Bon Wier, TX.
- Ralph Wead passed from this life peacefully, surrounded by family, early Sunday morning, June 7, 2026. A Funeral Service will be held tomorrow at 2:00pm at Burr Ferry Pentecostal Church, Brother Lewis Robertson will officiate the service. A public visitation will be begin at 10:00am until the time of service. Burial will follow the service at Burr Ferry Cemetery.
- Freddy Curtis Francisco-Thompkins entered enteral rest on June 2, 2026, at the age of 45. A Funeral Service will take place tomorrow, at 11:30 am, at The First Assembly of God in Deridder, Louisiana. Cremation has entrusted to Myers Colonial Funeral Home.
- Visitation for Herbert Lee Rhodes Feast, passed away on Sunday, May 24,2026 in Richardson, Texas will take place at the Starlight Missionary Baptist church tomorrow beginning at 10 a.m. Services follow visitation at 11 a.m. also at the church.
