Merle R. Schmidt, 89, of Moundridge, Kansas, passed away Friday, June 6. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, June 11, at Southern Magnolia Mennonite Church in DeRidder, LA. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 12, at Highland Mennonite Church in DeRidder, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation for Daniel Lee Barrington will begin at 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday at the East Leesville Baptist Church with funeral service to follow on Friday at 11 a.m. also at the chruch. Interment will follow the service in the Beech Grove Cemetery in Anacoco. LTC (R) Daniel H "Dan" Kinsinger passed away on June 6, 2025, he was 76 years old. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. at the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville. Otha Mae Tucker, who left us on June 6, 2025, at the age of 76. A memorial service with full military honors will be held on a date to be announced at Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville, LA.
