- Darval J. Burks, who left this world on July 2, 2026, at the age of 92. Public viewings will be held at Broadlands Bible Church on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, starting at 9:00 AM. A funeral service will follow on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at 11:00 AM, also at Broadlands Bible Church. Darval will be laid to rest at Hopewell Cemetery following the service. Brother Tim Bergen, Brother Darrel Cline, Brother Dalton Isbell and Brother Aaron Isbell will officiate the service
- John Arthur Brewer, 83, entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior on July 5, 2026. Funeral Service will be held today 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM CT at Labby Memorial Funeral Home - DeRidder. Burial follows the service at the Lewis Cemetery.
- Funeral services for John P. Thompson Jr. will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Union Baptist Church with Brother Brad Thompson officiating the service. A visitation will be on July 9, 2026, starting at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Union Baptist Church. The burial will be at Union Cemetery with military honors under the direction of Jeane's Funeral Service of Hornbeck.
- Daniel David Kulaga, a beloved son, father, and friend, who left us on July 5, 2026, at the age of 68. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home, where family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM, also at Myers Colonial Funeral Home, Pastor George Lee Glass will officiate the service. Burial will take place at a later date after cremation.
- Bianka Nicole Matlock-Smith passed away on Monday, June 29, 2026. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 12:00 P.M. at Bethesda Ministries in Leesville. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
