- Maxie Dean Craft Hare passed away on July 19, 2025. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Maxie's life at her funeral service on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at 11:00 AM, with a public viewing starting at 9:00 AM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Brother Tory Dardar will officiate the service. Maxie will be laid to rest following the service at Cannon Cemetery in Merryville, LA
- A funeral service for Dennis H. Wilson will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at Jeane's Funeral Service in Leesville with Reverend Sandy Guynn officiating. A visitation will be held at Jeane's on Thursday from 12:00 to 2:00. Dennis passed away July 19, 2025, in Leesville, Louisiana at the age of 62
- Preston Boyd, of Rosepine, passed away on July 21, 2025. Preston and his wife Kaye will receive military honors and be interred together at the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery near Fort Polk on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
- Nelwyn Cryer Faulkner was born March 27, 1941, in Rosepine, LA, and peacefully passed away on July 21, 2025, in her home and surrounded by those who loved her. Visitation will be Thursday, July 24 from 9-11am at Grace Church. Funeral service will be Thursday, July 24 at 11am at Grace Church. Interment will be at Rosepine Cemetery. Rev. George Lee Glass, Rev. Gary Bankson, and Minister Chris Duhon will officiate.
- Merida Neal Holton, passed away on July 17, 2025. A memorial service to celebrate Neal's life will be held on Saturday, July 26, 11:00 AM at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville, Louisiana.
