- Ida Gloreita "Glo" Jeane Hunt Lester, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2026, at the age of 91. A celebration of Glo's life will be held on July 14, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Labby Memorial Funeral Home, located at 601 S. Fourth St., Leesville, Louisiana, under the direction of Bro. Wayne Jackson. Burial will follow at Pine Island Cemetery, Leesville, Louisiana.
- Sheldon Young, passed away at the age of 87. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at 11:00 AM in Myers Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and continue Wednesday morning from 9:00 AM until the time of service in the Chapel.
- Glenda Jean Funderburk Dowden, age 79, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2026. Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church of Leesville on Thursday, July 16, 2026, from 6-8 p.m., and Friday, July 17, 2026, from 10-11 a.m. A Celebration of Glenda's life will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Leesville and will be officiated by Bro. Darin Worthington. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
- Paulette Kent Flack, a beloved mother, wife, and friend, who departed this world on July 11, 2026, at the age of 80. A service to celebrate Paulette's life will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at 2:00PM in Myers Colonial Funeral Home chapel. A visitation will be held Saturday, July 18, 2026 from 12:00PM until the time of service in the chapel. Service will be officiated by Brother Garrett Fuselier and Brother Garrett Paul Fuselier.
