- Camus Dale Courmier, 72, of Florien, Louisiana, passed away at 12:12 a.m. on February 1, 2026, at Byrd Hospital in Leesville, Louisiana. Graveside services will be held at Harmony Cove Church in Florien, Louisiana, at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 5, 2026. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at Warren Meadows Funeral Home in Many, Louisiana.
- Gail Andrews Jackson was born on November 26, 1934 passed away on February 2, 2026 in Leesville. Funeral services will be held on today at 12:00 P.M. at Good Hope Baptist Church in Anacoco with Bro. Keith Dowden and Bro. Tinker Hillman officiating. Burial will follow in the Good Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be held today from 11:00 A.M. until time of the service at the church.
- Murphy Gene Ashworth of DeRidder, LA, who left us peacefully on January 31, 2026, at the age of 88. Funeral services will be held at Myers Colonial Funeral Home today, at 10:00 AM. Michael Clark will officiate the service. Following the service, Murphy will be laid to rest at Good Hope Cemetery in Singer, LA.

The burial will take place at2:00 p.m. on Saturday at Eden Cemetery on FM 225 West, Nacogdoches, TX under the direction of Jeane's Funeral Service. A visitation will be held on Friday, February 6th at First United Pentecostal Church of Leesville from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

- Ricky Lee Jefferson, 66 years old, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2026, in DeRidder, LA. A public viewing will be held at Sweet Home Baptist Church on February 7, 2026, beginning at 9:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at the same location at 11:00 AM.
