Joy L. Rowe Rains
Joy was born on May 17, 1951, in Nacogdoches, Texas to Bob and Faye Rowe and passed away January 30, 2019 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was married to Steve Douglas Rains and was a registered nurse at Sabine Medical Center.
Left to cherish Joy’s memory are her husband, Steve Rains; daughter Karen Dowden with husband, Allen of Minden, LA; sister Cynthia Ballew and husband Bob of Nacogdoches, TX; sister-in-law Polly Windham of Natchitoches, LA; granddaughter Courtney Lafitte of Minden; great-granddaughter Halley Hightower of Minden; several nieces and nephews; and a host of beloved friends.
