- Allene S. Hoss, who peacefully entered her eternal home on February 5, 2026, at the age of 93. A public viewing will be held today at 11:00 AM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM officiated by Brother Gladney Hunt and Brother Dennis Moses. Allene will be laid to rest at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
- Jerrell Dowden passed away at Byrd Hospital on February 7, 2026. He was 71 years old. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville with Bro. Jason Nolde and Bro. C.W. Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow in the Leesville Cemetery.
