- Connie Sue Rainwater Fee, 68, of DeRidder, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2026. Funeral services will be held at Labby Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026, at 2:00 PM, with burial to follow at Miller Cemetery.
- Phillip Lee James, 82, of Pitkin, Louisiana, passed away in his home on April 9, 2026. A celebration of life memorial service will be held at the Labby Memorial Funeral Homes in DeRidder, LA on April 25, 2026 at 12:00 p.m.
- Pegge Joyce Holaway Calhoun was called home to the Lord on April 21st, 2026, at age 96. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 1:00 PM until the time of service at 2:00 PM at First United Pentecostal Church of DeRidder. Reverend Zale Lewis, Reverend George Lee Glass and Reverend Reuben Paul will be officiating the service. Burial will follow at Sugartown Cemetery in Sugartown, LA.
- Nolen Weldon, 70, of Pitkin, LA passed away April 18th, 2026, in Lake Charles, LA. Services will be held at a later date. Cremation has been entrusted to Myers Colonial Funeral Home and Crematory in DeRidder, LA.
