- Funeral services for Shellie Jean Sumler will be held on Monday, April 20, 2026, at Union Baptist Church in Florien starting at 10:00 AM. A visitation will be held at 9:00 AM until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Flactor Cemetery.
- Roy Lamar Brown, passed away on April 16, 2026, at the age of 70. The visitation will be on April 21, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will be on April 22, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Labby Memorial Funeral Home, located at 601 S. Fourth St., Leesville, LA 71446. Interment will follow at the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville, LA.
