- Bishop Steven R. Thomas, Sr. passed away on April 6, 2026 in Houston, Texas. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at House of Prayer in Leesville. Burial will follow in the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery.
- Vroni Lynn Thornock (Gautsche), who passed peacefully March 6, 2026, in Leesville, Louisiana, at the age of 79. A memorial service for Vroni will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, April 17, 2026, at the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery. A visitation will be held at Jeane's in Leesville from 12:30 p.m. to 1:15 p.m.
- Julie Marie Gore-Dukes, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on April 3, 2026, in Shreveport, Louisiana. Funeral services will be held at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, April 17, 2026. Visitation will take place starting at 11:00 A.M until service at the funeral home.
