Jasper Police say a wrecker truck that was reported stolen early Tuesday morning from McDonald Mobile Homes on Highway 190 has been recovered, leaving officers with the task of finding out who stole it.
ChIef Gerald Hall said officers were called to the location early Tuesday when employees of the business arrived for a day of work and discovered the truck was missing. He said a short time later the truck was found abandoned in a wooded area on Bevil Loop Road.
Hall officers were still investigating the incident in an attempt to identify a suspect in the case.
