A work truck was destroyed by fire on Wednesday afternoon in Rayburn Country. It happened shortly before 2:00 between Piney Point Plaza and Sealy Outdoors on Recreational Road 255. Lake Rayburn firefighters arrived to find the engine compartment and cab of the Ford club cab truck owned by Justin Eddies was completely engulfed and quickly went to work to douse the flames. The driver of the truck, Marvin Primrose said he was headed west on RR-255 when smoke began to come out from under the hood of the vehicle. He said that shortly after he pulled off the road, flames were visible. No injuries resulted from the incident.
